New! HubSpot Payments Launches in UK & Canada: Full Pricing Breakdown

We’re excited to announce that HubSpot Payments is now officially available to businesses in both Canada and the United Kingdom! This expansion means even more merchants can leverage HubSpot payments to collect payments directly from their CRM—including one-time and recurring payments via invoices, payment links, and quotes.

Pricing Overview: Canada & UK

With HubSpot Payments, you’re only charged when you actually receive a payment—there are no monthly subscription or hidden fees. Fees are only incurred when payments are actually processed with Commerce Hub (clicking the "pay" button on a Commerce Hub checkout page). This means you simply pay a straightforward fee each time you process a payment, and you won’t incur any costs unless money is actually collected.

Platform Fee: 0.5% per transaction

60-day platform fee waiver for new customers

Credit/Debit Card Processing Fees:
- United Kingdom: 1.7% per transaction for UK cards
- Canada: 2.9% per transaction

International Card Fees:
- UK:
  - Non-UK EEA: 0.8% per transaction (total fees per transaction, 2.5%)
  - Non-UK, non-EEA: 1.55% per transaction (total fees per transaction, 3.25%)
- Canada: 0.8% per transaction

Currency Conversion Fee: Additional 2% fee if currency conversion is required

Platform and processing fees are automatically deducted from each transaction. HubSpot does not charge extra for refunds, though the original transaction fees are not returned.

Example: $9,000 Transaction with HubSpot Payments Canada

If your customer pays with a credit or debit card:
- Processing fee: $261 (2.9% of $9,000)
- Platform fee: $45 (0.5% of $9,000)
- Total fees: $306

Example: £9,000 Transaction with HubSpot Payments UK

If your customer pays with a:
- UK card:
  - Processing fee: £153 (1.7% of £9,000)
  - Platform fee: £45 (0.5% of £9,000)
  - Total fees: £198
- EEA card (European Economic Area, not UK)
  - Processing fee: £225 (2.5% of £9,000)
  - Platform fee: £45 (0.5% of £9,000)
  - Total fees: £270
- Non-UK / Non-EEA (International) card
  - Processing fee: £292.50 (3.25% of £9,000)
  - Platform fee: £45 (0.5% of £9,000)
  - Total fees: £337.50

Tip: If a currency conversion is required, add another 2% fee to the total.

Who Can Use HubSpot Payments?

Your business must be registered and have a bank account in the US, UK, or Canada, and hold a paid HubSpot subscription (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise).
The system is especially designed for businesses selling non-physical goods (e.g., software, services, content, courses) but enables card payments from customers globally.

How to Get Started?

Navigate to Commerce > Payments in your HubSpot portal.
Complete the application process, providing tax identification and bank account information.
After approval, you’re ready to collect payments.
