Hi All,

I'm working with a customer, I'm writing a PRD for a project to migrate the the customer from an existing custome CRM platform to HubSpot.

One of the things that I need to solve it recurring billing,. This will be done outside of HS, do to their product limitaionts.

To make a long story short, I need to save a token that represents the customer CC details to itentify him with the billing company in the next billing cycle.

What would be the best way to charecterize this property, so it will be secured in the best way?
Would you store it somewhere else and not in HS, under the contact object?

Thanks

I just joined a company and have been reviewing contacts and companies with a co-worker. I have followed some of them to keep track of any future activity. How can I create a list of these records so I can go back to them at any time and review? I am not seeing any filter or logic options when I try to create a segment (list). Thanks in advance.

Post-Flight Survey

Our team is in Aviation and we are looking to do post-flight surveys to ID if there were any issues with each trip. The survey would ask about different elements of the flight and customer experience, such as if the WiFI was working, if there was a maintenance issue/delay, etc. We have a custom "Trips" object that we might possibly leverage.

We would like to somehow use a form and "Weight" each of the selections so they would reduce from 100%, and our goal would be that each trip would be above at least an 80% threshold. I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to leverage a scoring system or property in order to do this. It would be similar to how the lead scoring works but opposite, reducting from 100%.

Can this be accomplished? Would calculated fields be involved? Maybe some feature in the Customer Success portal can help?? Thanks!

Rolling Date using Calculated Properties

I wanted to create a property that is based on a specific date. The idea is that every year, the calculation adds a year to the input. I want there to be two properties.

Property A (Initial Input Date)

Property B (Rolling Input Date)

Where Initial Input Date means the date we entered a company within the CRM.

Property A will remain uniform while Property B always changes depending on the year. For example:

Property A (Year 1): January 1, 2025

Property B:

> Year 2: January 1, 2026

> Year 3: January 1, 2027

Ideally, these properties should be the only ones that exist to ensure CRM hygiene.

and so on...

Any ideas how I can achieve this using calculated properties?

We're already using target accounts & tiers so these will be the foundation for which updates should be submitted on a weekly basis. Unfortuantely, not everything (e. g. calls & notes) is logged in Hubspot so just relying on "last activity" isn't feasible. Any ideas? I want to keep it as simple as possible and avoid that our salesreps are spending an hour on this every week.

Delighted about the improvement on team-based lead routing in HubSpot workflows

Finallyyyyy. This has been such a pain in lead routing for forever.

This update makes routing so much cleaner for us. we can actually trust team-based routing now instead of doing that annoying workaround where you jump into the assignment workflow and remove the specific contact owner so leads don't get assigned to someone that's not available. It was a lot and difficult to track at times when several reps are OOO and then you have to add them back to the assignment workflow.

We also added an OOO team too and it’s already a game changer: if an old lead comes back inbound, we can reassign it to reps who are actually available instead of it snapping back to someone who’s out. That alone is gonna save a ton of “wait who’s on this?” chaos.

Not even exaggerating, this is one of those “small on paper, HUGE in real life” updates. Massive W for HubSpot.
help! Added contacts to companies not working... subdomain issues

New hubtstotter here...

We have a bunch of companies added to our account.

Trying to add contacts to them. however its giving me a error msg every time.

I figured out why, its because the email domain doesn't match the company url.

This is a big issue, as almost all our clients have a main domain, with many subdomains depending on their division/location/etc...

How do I disable this feature, so we can add whatever email we want under the company? I tried unchecking the "Create and associate Companies with contacts", but it didn't do anything.

For example:

Company ABC COMPANY

Domain abc-company.com

Contact email is JOHNDOE@EAST.ABC-COMPANY.COM

Is this a bug, or ???

thanks!

Copy Created by User Id to custom property

Hello HubSpot experts,

Our organisation has a requirement to report on a Deal role that is specific to our company. We need this custom property to be populated by the 'Created by user Id' property on the Deal, but the custom property needs to be able to be updated, so a property sync will not work.

I'm in the process of creating a workflow to copy the values from the 'Created by user Id' property to our custom property, but want to format the user Id to a HubSpot user and am struggling with coding this.

Have any users had any success completing this task?

Thanks in advance!
